Anyone else driving in the northern lower peninsula? Ludington, Traverse City, Tawas, Alpena, Mackinac City?

Can anyone explain to me how to use the maps from Jigle in KisMac? Can I run both at the same time using gpsd?
I am using an iBook w/640MB Ram OSX.3.9, and a Rayming TN200 USB GPS.
