Re: Open Source Datasets, Open Weights modeling initiative for widespread accurate 3dma positioning.
We'd certainly nominate the m8b approach ( https://github.com/wiglenet/m8b ) and welcome feedback on the idea - short version: M8B is an offline artifact that uses the unique parts of WiFi addresses as a "fingerprint" to guess what 1km square you're in based on WiGLE data. the 1km square i...
Re: DEF CON 32 RFHS World Wide War Drive
things are queueing just fine - otherwise the queue wouldn't be full!
we've processed an absolutely unprecedented number of files in the last week.
regarding a failed upload, does it happen when you retry?

Re: DEF CON 32 RFHS World Wide War Drive
that'a US/Pacific "DEF CON" time.
uploads go from noon today to the last second of Sunday night in that timezone.

Re: map troubleshooting
what are you trying to accomplish?
The app is fundamentally for network detection and logging, not a data analysis platform. The clusters apply to recent observations, not downloaded data, and are meant to give you a sense of density.
The map tiles are the best way to look into the data around you.

Re: map troubleshooting

Re: map troubleshooting
the map option in the client will download map overlay tiles - the equivalent of "found by me" on the web maps. if you want to integrate your old observations in the android app, go to your "uploads" in the app and press the buttons with the green right sides and grey left sides,...

Re: Kismet files for upload
only the WiGLE .csv file can or should be uploaded. The .kismet file contains additional information we can't use and don't want (for privacy and safety reasons)
Re: Map History
It's under the "Settings" activity - Map Settings > Log routes for execution in german that's Einstellungen > Karteneinstellungen > Routen zur Ausführung protokollieren once you've done this, the Database > "Saved Routes" (Gespeicherte Routen) has them all, and will allow you to ...
