Outtage this morning (jan 12th, 2010)

Apologies for the outage this morning, one of the servers had a bit of an episode. We're now diagnosing that machine. Thank you for your patience.

It seems the the queueis still taking a very long time to process. Has there been some large file submissions or is the server just slow today?

I uploaded a .kmz file today at about 17:00 GMT (mid day CMT?) and it is still sat in the queue. At the time there were 4 hundred odd files in the queue whereas their are under that in the que now so either some must be getting through or they are timing out.

Is this related to the problem earlier this week?

Just many large files being worked through, all systems nominal.
