jigle and cells

I was wondering if JiGLE/DiGLE database file would ever be upgraded to display cell towers. I realize that development is stopped on DiGLE, but I sometimes use it for the different sorts it allows from JiGLE. I'm more hopeful that JiGLE will be updated, but I also don't want to break the functionality that I still have though DiGLE.

Does that make any sense?

yes it makes sense.
a new jigle is in the works (perpetually, only this time for reals)

cells are a great idea, we'll see about throwing that in the mix!

So for this we need an Cellular USB Dongle, am i wright?

this would only be for visualizing data from the wigle.net site
(the Wigle Wifi for Android app will pick up cell tower ids if your android device is also a phone)

new jigle is out of the works, and into the wild on the download page.
cells are not in yet (sad pandas) but the framework for getting them inplace
is much cleaner now.
