I've been running a Syntax USB400 adapter with kismac for some months now with good results.

I'm having way too much fun on the bus rides home from work with the new airport passive support  .

I still have yet to try to crack my wep key with the airport. I've tested the Syntax against my wep keys with good success (or bad depending on point of view).

Just a side note, I found my syntax adapter for $20 shipped online

Got link?

Been trying to track down a supplier here in Australia, or at least someone in the states who will ship to Australia.

No luck yet.

i have the R98realease of kismac
Version R104 has been released BTW.

Cheers,
mokum

1 R106: - Fixed some silly warnings as described in #61 note, this is not the patch from 61 because it was incorrect
2
3 R102: - improved permanent airport extreme enabling & installing (even more)
4 - including removal
5 - fixed serveral small bugs
6 - added new "build system"
7
8 R101: - changes in spanish translation
9
10 R100: This is a big commit, a present for R100.
11 -Added Client IP Address detection. I need to think about ways to detect the ip of the ap if possible.
12 --Fixed bug in existing sourceIPAsString() where we were adding sizeof(WLFrame) to the value instead of to the pointer.
13 -Fixed # 29 columns are no longer selected when resizing.
14 -Moved the search catagory menu into the Search cell where it belongs
15 -Better matching to vendors.db (some macs in vendors.db are in the form xx:xx and we were not checking against these)
16 -AE Passive mode forever now reads setting directly from the .kext. This should make sure our settings always reflect what is really set.
17 -Add ae passive forever setting to installer for both install and remove.
18 -Add Licence Info to growl controler files
19 -Maybe other stuff I can't remember

The best part is that it works for all ranges of tard/thievery questions. For example, watch how the Sim City 2000 handles the following basic tard questions:

Q: How can I surf starbucks wifi from my apartment three blocks away?
A: http://www.shermanscrossing.com/decepti ... _wifi.html

Q: Why doens't netstumbler connect to networks listed?
A: http://www.shermanscrossing.com/decepti ... mster.html

Q: Why does my internet cut out when I'm washing my socks in the delicate cycle?
