Re: Downloading data to democratize geolocation?
Mozilla Location is shutting down, last chance to dowload cell data https://d2koia3g127518.cloudfront.net/final_export/MLS-full-cell-export-final.csv.gz is this already merged into wigle? Any chance wigle could also get the Mozilla wifi location backup, just to have better coverage? (even when they ...

Re: API batch search BSSIDs
But would be more useful for users.
Also I don't think your statement is true, since doing individual queries has more overhead for you.
You can also subtract the batch count from the daily limit.

API batch search BSSIDs
Is it possible to include multiple BSSIDs in /api/v2/network/search to make it more efficient?
Re: Question about the weighted-centroid trilateration named in the FAQ
Could you please open source the trilateration algo?
Re: Highly restrictive query limit
So what's the extended limit then after I did contributions and used it for months? A simple use case is to do GPS location by BSSIDs nearby, for that I need a good 5 netid calls, since the API only allows 1MAC/call. Would be better to give sensible limits like 100calls/IP/day. You also have to give...

Re: Reverse lookup BSSID to coordinate
Thank you, seems a bit overkill for me, I'm happy to use public data and not concerned about privacy much, and application is infrequent.
Upon reading I found the least error square matrix method, I will give it a go.

Google's ssid database
Anyone has access to Google's ssid database?
They collected an extensive database when they did the street view database, and possibly every android has built in scanning.
So it's public data behind paywall.

Reverse lookup BSSID to coordinate
I'm trying to figure out my position using only nearby WiFi addresses.
Using wigle I can resolve bssid to AP coordinates, let's say 4.
And I also have the signal levels to each.
What's the procedure after that to get my position?

Signal level calibration
When using various scanning devices eg ESP32 did you find the need to calibrate the WiFi signal level? I guess it would also change with different antenna type too.

Minimal wifi info upload
I have a custom board that only collects wifi info: lat, long, time,BSSID,rssi I tried to create a test file, csv upload is accepted, but when I search for BSSID nothing comes up: WigleWifi-1.4,appRelease=2.53,model=X-37B,release=11.0.0,device=felgercarb,display=OPSPLS1.76-1-S,board=snodgrass,brand=Mo...
