The only cards that NS fully supports are those with the Hermes chipset. SMC is not supported.

Most any card will work with NS, the difference being signal to noise ratios. Orinoco gives a true reading.

Using 2 wireless cards has nothing to do with GPS accuracy. As you stated, one may pickup APs A,B,D,G,H and the other picks up C,E,F,I. How does that improve GPS accuracy? You are at point A, so is the GPS unit.

This is a couple months old, but;
If you're driving down a road charting wireless, it's not going to make any difference how accurate your GPS is. You're on the road. The only way to get accurate is to drive up each and every driveway you think was a hit.

Presque Isle, Michigan map

I've been trying for a couple months to get a raster map pack for Presque Isle, Michigan and the other counties that are missing in the tree.. The system is always busy doing something else.. Does it actually work?

Well heck.. Upon closer inspection, 1 slot.. Sorry bout that..
I had an old IBM thinkpad that had dual slots, and the docking stations had 4 more each..
If so many laptops have only one PCMCIA slot and ExpressCard slot, why is there no EC equipment available? Doesn't make much sense to me..
