but it was actually fifteen. happy birthday, wigle.net!

Re: Downloading data to democratize geolocation?
If wigle allows to download the data for free nobody must be pay for the data.
we do allow free non-commercial access to the data, per the eula. that doesn't mean you get to have everything at once, or the way you happen to prefer it. and we always have encourage...

Re: map broken / osmdroid banned from osm/mapnik!?

if you're the first to pull up an area it can take a bit for the tiles to generate.
check the webmaps for that area with the "open street maps" checkbox checked.
if they still don't show up send us a link/note.

Re: iOS App for Wardriving

apple beat out the entire class of applications with a banhammer years and years ago.
a little kitten told me there might be at least one coming back due to extraordinary cleverness on the part of their developers.

Re: Bad data in the map

good observations displace bad ones over time, but if you've got something especially double-plus ungood,
you can send us the transid or an example to wigle-admin at wigle.net and we can have a look.

part of the mapserver is being restarted, it is hitting the very busy database, and taking longer than normal.
