Re: Lost my old phone and hence my map

Go to the menu tab and click on Database and then select IMPORT OBSERVED. That will import all your AP logged and their location.
Right up until your database download is more than your phone can handle..... </humblebrag> ;-)

Max filesize?

Hi guys,
What's the max filesize I can have inside a tgz file for processing? Seems I've got a .gpsxml from last Friday (7/29) that's a little over 4GB in size, and the system seems to be upchucking when I try to upload it.

Thx,

Re: Rasberry Pi

Nope, that was another issue. Plus the new version is not complete and missing a whole lot of stuff the old one catches so I use the old one still. Yeah, I was doing some digging into the sqlite db tables and fields, and there's a lot of information that gets saved in the 2016-07-R1 release that ju...

Re: Support new Kismet log format in Kismet trunk

So I'm finally starting to upgrade the first of my several snifferkits to a RasPi 3B+ with the Kismet 2018-0-BETA1 code, and of course just discovered the same issue... sqlite file instead of gpsxml or netxml output. Really would like to see some type of support for data import from the new system. ...

Re: TL-WN722N / AR9271 generating A LOT of fake BSSIDs

Hmm, I've been running the WN722N for a while and haven't noticed any issues like this. I'll have to keep a watch on that.

Also, separately, did a bunch of sniffing around HD when I was working at the Uni-Klinikum there... about 10 years ago now. ;-)

Re: File parsing seems to be halted...

Something seriously borked. I've been watching the upload queue fill up faster than they're getting processed off the bottom. Did someone accidentally turn the turbo button off and the CPU is currently running at 4.77MHz?

Re: I want to use a Raspberry Pi B+ to Wardrive

Check Wardriving Hardware and Software under the wireless forum. There is a RPi forum there.

Re: Rasberry Pi

My latest portable sniffer kit: raspi-kismet.jpg RasPi with a GPS Addon board (source: http://ava.upuaut.net/store/index.php?route=product/product&path=59_60&product_id=95) to make a really simple, compact kit. I have since replaced the GPS antenna with one that has a MUCH shorter piece of c...
