nothing as sophisticated as an address; just seeing the data confirms the observations of others (example: "address 000D00D000D found by another person"). if we were REALLY smart, we'd look at your clock, see if your observations correlated with observations of others at the speeds that hu...

We reach *900,000* Access Points with Location.

Actually, you did all the work. We just sat back and collected the points. Pretty cool. eh? One more hundred-thousand, and we reach the vaunted million access points. This is pretty amazing. Thanks to everyone, and keep stumbling... we'll keep mapping.

NetStumbler 0.4.0

NetStumbler 0.4.0 was released today. on the bright side of things, IT ROCKS; stable, fast, effective, and it loves all my cards. The integration script with the existing DiGLE version even works correctly, so you can keep making stumbletraces. on the dark side of things, we'll need to update our NS...

The stumble's still interesting, because your trace can corroborate someone else's stumble (past or future) if you upload it.

NinjaPablo's got an important point. We receive lots of requests from people who want their networks removed, and we always honor them. Some of them are angry or stern, some think it's good fun, but I'd bet that the vast majority of them have been something in the vein of "ah, you got me. i've ...

oh, c'mon

I contend the following: 1.) WiGLE couldn't tell you whether or not you'll "see" a network someplace, just 'cause it's sighted there once. the gear that wardrivers use is generally a lot more powerful than a random laptop anyway. 2.) No stumbling package i've used can reliably recognize mu...

WiGLE: purpose?

One day bobzilla came to me and said "I started making a database of all of my wardrives." I said, "hey, i know how we can put these on maps!" it's really that simple... we're dopey, self-taught cartographers. We love writing software, especially for lots of users, especially for...

DiGLE: menacing everything you stand for!

actually, not menacing everything, but there's a dumb library bug in the latest version: if you type the wrong password the first time around, it CACHES that wrong password until you exit the program and restart. I have a work-around for the problem in the next version... post here if it's bugging y...

Login problem

ok, well, for starters:
1.) what version of DiGLE are you using?
2.) are there weird characters in your password? (pls. respond in private)
3.) what's the text of the error in the "console?"

thanks, and hope to get this resolved soon,

-a
