The fix is in the beta channel now - it takes a few days for us to get enough feedback to start "promoting" a release into public distribution (this is a great example of a problem that never manifested in the beta channel; probably no-one with an Android 7 device is in the beta group/test...

found it - isolated to android 7/7.1, and old library got bumped and broke things on our oldest devices supported. Fix forthcoming shortly.

shoot - there's been a drum-beat of forced upgrades that google has implemented over the last two years, suspect this is something to do with that. Watch this space, and sorry for the inconvenience.

We do what's call "cluster trilateration" - we choose the place we think it's most likely an address is and estimate position there, when there have been multiple observations of a beacon in different locations. It's very likely that either the actual equipment moved, or that someone re-us...

We're not currently requiring older accounts to verify. If the abuse attempts continue, we may revisit that decision, but if we do, we'll provide a clear path for verification.

Your account was disabled because it was abused - possibly someone guessed or found your password.
Access to the account can be restored using the password reset tool - make sure to use a strong password!

as disposable email providers get used in attempts to abuse the system, they'll cease to work for registration.

The limits are extremely low for new users right now due to recent abuse. There should have been a small number of working queries initially. but that includes multiple different query types, and might easily have been exhausted while you were familiarizing yourself with the site.
