Joining Groups

If I join a group do they get credit for my uploads? I mean to say that I want my uploads to count towards my ranking first, then my stats can also be applied towards the stats of the group. Is this the way things function?

Thanks for your answers. :)

Re: File parsing seems to be halted...

Re: File parsing seems to be halted...

there are times when the queue is processed very quickly, times when it is standing still for hours on end. it was a rarer occurrence and now it's a weekly thing. are you guys having growing pains? too much information for your system to handle? you doing analysis that is making the system slower? c...

What is the problem with the queue???

WiGLE currently has 409 files queued for processing.

As of right now, and it's growing. Can you admins look into this if you are not yet aware. If you are aware care to share what the issue(s) is?

Cheers.

Re: File parsing seems to be halted...

If the queue is long there is reason for it. If a user uploads a file that has 50,000+ wifi to process it will slow down all the other files hence the queue will grow. This will also effect the plotting of wifi on the map, so it just takes some patience. Upload your files and go do something else fo...

Re: Downloading data to democratize geolocation?

I have been paying attention. You make valid points, HOWEVER, you still haven't answered the question about accessing the data.

Re: 59 million wifi networks

Cant compete with anonymous. Was this always something you guys wanted in your app? I mean, on a monthly basis anonymous posts more wifi/cell towers than most of us gather a year. Just a thought.

android apps available on the market, and a proprietary app from work.

Would it be too much to ask, how you guys structure the data in your csv files? We can take this conversation offline if you feel more comfortable.

CSV files

Hey guys, I'm using perl to parse some csv files that I gathered using wigle and 2 other applications while I was on a business trip. After clearing the data I don't need, the files are uploaded to the site here. So far I haven't had any luck with the edited files. Can you look at these transaction ...
