I like the idea, but your project has the same problems as using Jigle & Digle. It doesn't query all the data for the area. I'm basing this off the screenshot you posted vs. a screenshot I took from the Web Maps.

Re: dissapearing streets
when i zoom in, the streets dissapear, why? Is this the "Web Maps" or Jigle or Digle? Not exactly a question with enough detail to get the proper answer. Can you see the street zoomed out? Sometimes when you zoom in the lines representing streets don't always line up as accurately with gp...
Re: Motorola Razor?
can it be used with JiGLE and Kismac on an apple? new to wardriving, some help with the settings would help. A quick search on Google suggests the answer is no. I searched a bunch of things. The RAZR uses A-GPS. From what I could find, I don't think A-GPS can output the proper coordinates to be use...

Re: Max size of uploads?
You have to break them down before uploading zipped or not. Not paying attention, I managed to drive a 150 meg gps file last night... Is there any 'good' way to break it down for upload? Thanks Taken from a post I made in NetStumbler.org forum: This is the way I do it, which works. If you can get t...
You updated the 14th million, but from what I am seeing it hasn't happened yet. I watched Dutch upload, and the stats updated. I uploaded my batch, and then the stats updated. ccie4526 uploaded, and his batch was processed, and the stats didn't update, or they didn't change which means that he eithe...

Re: Max size of uploads?
I've bumped into it a few times, but I never knew what the line was. For me, the largest files are usually Kismet *.gps files. Some gzipped are still too large. I often break them up so they won't be so big individually. Has to less than 100 million bytes. 100 MB files are too big. If you gzip mult...

I would recommend not posting your exact email address, unless you want to start receiving (more) spam. Also, not sure why you would advertise that you know how to break a code, which usually is only done when you are trying to connect to something you don't have permission to connect to. Especially...

Yup, xml (the original file format I was trying to upload) was listed, this is why I was getting confused by the lack of success. WiFiFoFum is not one of the listed accepted file types for upload, so that is why most of the file types associated with it did not work. Saving as an *.ns1 worked, beca...

Hi Again, OK, I tried saving and uploading in every format that WiFiFoFum will do, and it appears that the *.ns1 format works, but I'd Appreciate it if some admin type could check to make sure this is correct, the *.ns1 output of WiFiFoFum NOT the fact that *.ns1 are accepted. Transaction No. 20080...

Re: recommended miniPCI cards for Kismet?
I am working on getting some different wardriving hardware up, and I am investigating miniPCI cards for the first time. I have broken enough pigtails on PCMCIA cards. I have an Intel 2915 card on hand that I have never used (that I assume that is functional, and I see it is supported in Kismet). Wh...
