An Error has occurred:
unable to process posted file.
Please go back and try again.

I uploaded one 2 days ago with no problem.

Thanks,

Seeing the same issue from Mac Safari 4.0.3 at 10:40pm CST.

I am still unable to upload. If it helps my ns1 file is a little over 8 mb, it was exported from vistumbler and I'm using google chrome.

yeah, there's an intermittent (thus the problem is hard to see when its fixed) issue with file posts. we're trying a bunch of fixes, none of which seem to be 100% on it. newer versions of things are not always better.

please do continue to let us know what browser you're having trouble with (the issue is just with the http part of the post, not the file parsing) and if the problem persists (try, say an hour between posts rather than chain-reloading.)

we'll let you know if we have a Definitive Solution.

Trying to upload a 2.2MB zip file. Interesting IE error.

I just tried again with Mac Firefox 3.5.4 and got the same error on the confirm page.

Looking at the Firefox error console, there's nothing enlightening, just a lot of stuff with the CSS that Firefox complains about.

I didn't do anything different, and my upload just worked with firefox. Strange.

After every little fix tried failed, we've done a much more invasive change. Let us know if you see any issues with uploads now, or anything else, as this had to touch pretty much the entire site.

Apologies for the issues this weekend.

I could be wrong, but it looks like webmaps are broken. It could be just me.

Webmaps are broken for me too -- the individual tiles are displaying broken image icons.

web maps should be back up now. unfortunate surprise leftovers from some of this weekend's maintenance.

sorry for the inconvenience, thanks for the head's up!
