Microsoft Streets and Trips 2006 with GPS Locator $79.99

The gear needed for wardriving

Hi Everyone,

After hunting around various retailers such as Best Buy, Staples and OfficeMax… I just came back from CompUSA and wanted to let everyone know that Microsoft Streets and Trips 2006 with GPS Locator is selling there (and online) for 79.99 + tax! This is 33% off ($40!) their normal price($119) and this product was released just this week. The included Pharos/SiRF GPS-360 alone is worth the price. I was quite surprised as they are usually overpriced and not as friendly as other retailers. On Microsoft’s Site the MSRP is $129! If you pick it up at a retail store make sure the box states 2006 (and the GPS is included) because I have encountered that many of the products are mixed together - and we know how most store policies go about open software regardless of the situation.

The $79.99 deal at CompUSA was a short one that has expired. Fry's Electronics www.outpost.com has them online at $89.99 and at $79.99 in the Phoenix AZ stores. P\The in store price was good until Nov 22nd.

I dont know about Fry's in Phoenix, but here in LA, we have Frys advertisements every Fri-Mon, and Wednesday. They have awesome deals, so check the local newspapers. Also, if they won't mention the make/model of something they have a good deal on, you can lookup their SKU# on outpost.com and see what it really is.
