First of all may I say I'm not a wardriver and my interest in it is purely professional (well not purely, I am a bit of a nerd).

I work for a law enforcement agency and would appreciate your help. I need to make a map of the Eastern region of the UK of any and all wireless networks so would need 1 or 2 things.

1: A whole lot of data I can download and export to an excel spreadsheet. I have GIS mapping software at work that can plot these locations on a map.

2: If it cant be put into excel, a way of mapping it on google earth, I've read of ways to do this but I'm pretty new to this so an explaination would help a lot!

Any help or pointers would be appreciated.

there are a number of points in the forums about how to create maps, and get data, which are worth reading up on.
the webmaps are often handy for broad overviews of an area.
remember: the best way to conduct any sort of wireless survey is going to be to do it yourself, especially in any kind of professional (and especially especially a law enforcement) capacity.
