Yesterday this worked:

wget --load-cookies=cookies.txt --no-check-certificate -Otest "https://wigle.net/gpsopen/gps/GPSDB/con ... imple=true"

today the same query returns this:

An Error has occurred:
too many queries

Please go back and try again.

dropping simple=true returns an empty Wigle page

Did something break?

uthu, care to elaborate?

Why must we suffer so many query restrictions?

uthu, care to elaborate?

Why must we suffer so many query restrictions?
To stop people from ...
a) harvesting the db.
b) hogging the server resources and cpu time.
c) utilizing the transfer bandwidth, thus making the Wigle triumvirate having to spend more of their pocketmoney on datacenter fees, than on kittens to keep uhtu well feed and happy.
d) all the above.

All very good reasons IMHO

I'm doing the same here on Mac OS X:

wget --load-cookies=cookies.txt --no-check-certificate -Otest "https://wigle.net/gpsopen/gps/GPSDB/con ... imple=true"

but I get a loop of these messages

Connecting to wigle.net|205.234.142.193|:443... connected.
WARNING: cannot verify wigle.net's certificate, issued by `/C=IL/O=StartCom Ltd./OU=Secure Digital Certificate Signing/CN=StartCom Class 2 Primary Intermediate Server CA':
Unable to locally verify the issuer's authority.
WARNING: certificate common name `sha2.wigle.net' doesn't match requested host name `wigle.net'.
HTTP request sent, awaiting response... No data received.
Retrying.

Any thoughts?
