I'm in Will county and the mappack for it is older than dirt. I'm posting points that are coming up in the middle of fields.

I too am in Will County. I use Netstumbler + MapPoint 2k4 to map however.

I'm in Joliet, maybe we could meet up some time?

We use 2002 Census data, but who knows when they last updated their data for that area. We're only as accurate as they are.

And are you sure that there aren't AP's in fields? Many farming companies have been known to use wifi on their equipment.

I am in Mchenry County, and I done most of the mapping for Crystal Lake, and because of high gas prices I now go out on bike and pop my antenna on my bike rack.

Hey, I'm in chicago for a few weeks working on a data center for SBC. I'm staying in Hillside. Did a little driving in the Western Berbs and the Downtown/Loop area. Always new stuff down there with as many people that come and go.
