There has not been a WiGLE Windows download for over a decade. Most functionality is in the site and the API now - if you're looking for a scanning package, I think most folks use Kismet within a VM for windows stumbling at this point. The old packages (DiGLE/JiGLE) were just visualization engines, you'll be better off with professional mapping packages and API exports at this point.
thanks for the reply Arkasha. I'm not really a computer guy (not well-versed). I was hoping this would work (does this method have to do with API exports?)There has not been a WiGLE Windows download for over a decade. I'm sure you could install it that way, but I have no idea whether it could access GPS/WiFi hardware (and most laptops don't have an integrated GPS). You're probably better off getting a cheap/refurb Android phone in most cases.
I'm going to give it a try (I did get a dedicated Android phone and it's working well); I just wanted to see how a wifi adapter with big antennas would do (I got an Alfa wifi adapter and a global sat usb gps). Will give it a go, thanks (I give it a 15% chance lol)I'm sure you could install it that way, but I have no idea whether it could access GPS/WiFi hardware (and most laptops don't have an integrated GPS).
