I visited www.worldwidewardrive.org and saw that they are ending their project. I was really looking forward to participating this year. Bummer.

Bah. With no disrespect intended, I think it's silly to think that the WWWD is no longer needed, and that it has been "taken as far as it can go." Participation was growing every year, and it was acting as a sort of social nexus for getting wardrivers together for road trips. Hrmph.
