was hacked and database(s) comprimised. Undisclosed changes in the City Administrative database which held salaries, etc. Now the shockwave has rippled to all other agencies in NYC. DOI suggests all gov agencies review their security policies and guidlines immediately. This kind of stuff can be mostly prevented, or at least make it difficult enough so hackers go to the next easy target. This access point was located next to a window in the mezz. Easy target. The City agencies were not aware of the wwwd2 that was going on this week and the convention today (oct 31, 2002) at Citicorp bldg. But rest assured, they do now and all eyes are on it.
