Android App version 2.63 Forces Pixel 2XL to reboot @ 10K

Issues with the Android network detection software. Please include Software version, Android version, and device when reporting

I've been able to reproduce this issue. When the app scans and logs 10,000 connections, soon after the app will fail and cause the phone to reboot. Now, when I get close to 10K, I kill and restart the app. Not the best user experience. Is there anything you can do?

Thanks,
John
Certainly isn't happening with our test devices; I've just tested a Pixel 5, Samsung A10, and others with 32k nets, all keep going strong
Can you check and see whether or not you have any crash logs? (and if so, share them with us via email at WiGLE-admin[at]wigle.net)

A few other items to check:
- does it still happen if you lower your scan speed?
- does the phone overheat (this might not generate a crash log)
- how full is your phone's storage?
- are there any error messages displayed?

Cheers, and sorry for the difficulties,

-ark
