Vehicles and Bluetooth

I know a number of years ago that you started blocking vehicles from the online database over concerns of people using the online DB to track vehicles. Now that vehicles are coming equipped with Bluetooth and BLE devices, are those also only resident in our local scans or are they being uploaded and counted?

I'm afraid you're mistaken on this point - we announced that we temporarily removed one specific type of vehicle as part of a responsible disclosure process. We can't reliably identify or block vehicles in general.
It's worth nothing that:
1. BTLE usually employs MAC address rotation, limiting the de-anonymization risk for individuals
2. WiFi still has inherent privacy risks, which our project is designed to highlight
