dstumbler uploaded data and lat/long formats

It looks as if whenever I have uploaded a dstumbler log, which seems to
store it's lat/longs in degrees followed by a decimal point, (which isn't a decimal separator) followed by a two digit number of minutes, and any futher digits are fractions of minutes.
(In this respect, it could be seen as dd'mm.mmmmm format, but it's actually dd.mmmmmmm)
This puts the positions on the maps way out, because it appears to interpret the lat/long as decimal degrees.
