A question about changed SSIDs

How does WiGLE/JiGLE handle the displaying of access points whose SSIDs have changed since first uploaded? I originally uploaded an access point whose SSID was "link_sys". The administrator has subsequently changed it to "monkeyballs", and I have uploaded text exports with the new SSID. The JiGLE client continues to show the access point as "link_sys", should it not update it to the most recent/uploaded/updated SSID recorded?
